Eileen Day McGrath grew up on Cape Ann, MA and enjoyed all the tales and natural scenery of Dogtown, the deserted village. Trained as a therapist and a historian, Eileen enjoys embellishing the tall tales placed in real settings using historical references. The therapist promotes positive values related to family, spirituality, purpose and reconciliation.
Eileen and son, Daniel (artist for the novels) moved to Lewes, DE in 1990, where they now call home. Eileen and Dan both served in the Army for many years. Eileen currently works for the federal government, helping military members, civilians and their families.
In her free time, Eileen enjoys caring for animals: rabbits, birds, cats, and dogs and whatever ends up at their home, Creature Comforts, needing rescue. Eileen also enjoys all types of historic research, museums, entertaining and dancing at the American Legion with Chris, the therapist (see Dogtown Days I).
